Carbon monoxide and carpet cleaning?

I had my carpet steam cleaned today. The smell of the cleaning product was quite strong. About an hour or so after the guy left, my carbon monoxide alarm sounded. No one has any symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. I’ve vented the house and the alarm no longer sounds.
Does anyone know whether the carpet cleaning product could have caused a false alarm?

The high humidity along with the chemicals could cause a false alarm. Close up the house and go out for dinner and see if it goes of again.
If you are still concerned, call either the gas company or the fire department……NOT 911
