I’m looking for a carpet cleaner that has a large recovery tank and can hold a lot of cleaning solution and water. I have a big house, so I need it to hold a lot.

My toddler got red, green, and blue acrylic paint all over my carpet. Do you know a way for me to get it out?? I have gotten it mostly clean but not all. So if you have experienced this before or know of a magical cleaning solution to get it out, please let me know. I have already tried oxiclean, a steam cleaner, and several other carpet cleaners.

Hoover’s printed material that came with the machine says that only Hoover products should be used because of potential electrical hazards. Hoover cleaning solutions are very expensive and I suspect that they may want to sell cleaning solution without any competition. Anyone have an answer?

We rented a rug doctor steam cleaner to do the carpets and couches. There’s a little tag on the handle of the upholstery cleaning tool that says "Use anti-foam cleaner". Well, I didn’t see that tag in the store, of course! I have the carpet cleaning solution, it does not say that it is foaming….so is it ok? Is there some other household solution I should make and use? What should I do? It’s storming and I don’t want to run back to the store again!

does anyone know if there are any carpet steam cleaners (that actually work good) on the market that you do not need to use a chemical cleaning solution in addition to the steam. I have a baby, so there are constantly messes, ie) spit up and pee getting on to my carpets. I want to clean them, however do not want to use any chemicals that he will come in contact with when on the floor.

I just began my own Mobile Auto Wash and Detailing buisness … got the work van with the power washer, big water tank, generator, shop vac, all that, to clean up and detail vehicles on the spot at peoples houses or at their work, and some car lots. Now the question is, I got this Bissell Little Green Machine Steam Vac that I use to clean carpets in vehicles, but I need some ideas on, how can I get hot water to put into machine to use if I’m mobile and on-site at a job? I got the water, but need hot water to mix with cleaning solution! Don’t think it’ll work the same if I’m using cold or regular temp. water, right? And I can’t just ask whatever business place I’m at or anybody "uh, mind if I use your hot water? durrrr! " I have a power generator in my work van also if that’s any helpful. All I can come up with is to get one of those hot pots and plug it up and put some water in it to get hot, but that’s kinda ghetto! Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Can I use it in my bissell steam cleaner instead of the cleaning solution? Will it stain my brownish carpet?
Will it actually clean and remove stains, or will it just remove odors?
Thanks!

I think our steam cleaner is malfunctioning because it’s supposed to suck the water back up out of the carpet, but instead, it left the water and the carpet cleaning solution on the carpet. I tried it again to suck the water up, but it’s not working. There is now an awful mildew smell. What can I do to get rid of it?

I purchased a bissell flipit and a hoover floormate. Neither did anything for my linoleum floors. I have the floors with all thecracks and crevices. I want to find either another Appliance brand, cleaning solution, or can someone recommend a good steam cleaner and tell me if I should just go with the steamer all together and forget the hard floor cleaning products.
