I have been reading some reviews online, and I’m really getting mixed reviews on these two machines. I have a Beagle and I thought it would be nice to have this machine for the furniture, to clean the matress and any other accidents on the floor. Has anyone used either of these and what are you opinions on them? I hear a lot of complaints about the soap clogging up the Bissell Little green steamer and the sprayer not working…

I got some furniture from family. It is about 10 years old. It is clean, but smells like perfume and body products. I want a fresh start for it in my home. Can this stuff be steam cleaned? Does this kill dust mites? What kind of company does this? Can it be done after if has been scotch guarded? This has been many years ago.
Any help is appreciated. This is for fabric furniture a type of soft denum. Another piece is woven. Does this kill bacteria and viruses too?
Wow JR can I get a better answer than that. I just do not know where to get a person like that. I guess I will have to call a hospital and see who they use.

All those poor mites… I just feel terrible about killing them all. I believe that we should all just let our furniture and mattresses become "mite friendly" and allow them to recover from the harms we have caused them.

A "friend" of mine said recently that he steam cleans his couch and chair every six months. To me that seemed excessive. I don’t even steam clean mine but occasionally I’ll vacuum them.

We just purchased a new house and want to clean the carpets before we move in. They don’t look dirty and no visible stains but we just want to give them a good cleaning before moving in furniture. The house has been empty for a year. I have a steam cleaner. I have heard there are homemade solutions that work great in these cleaners. Can anyone give me some? LIke I said, I don’t see any stains so I don’t need a stain remover, just a good solution that will clean the whole carpet.

get the stains and smell of urine out of my furniture? I’ve got a cat that’s…well let’s just say hasn’t been very good lately. I’ve tried every product, spray, you name it and none of it works. I figure steam cleaning it might work plus I need a new vacuum anyway. Has anyone been in this situation before? What would you recommend?

I am super thrifty and have just bought all of my furniture for our new house as second hand. I also have a baby on the way any day now and would like to clean the upholstery-either professionally or myself. I can rent a steam cleaner from the store BUT am wondering if there is another compound to use besides the stuff that is typically used sold alongside the rental steamers…it needs to be non-toxic. I have a sectional couch that has light green and dark green mold under the cushions. My furniture was shipped overseas so I am making a claim with the moving company. The company will pay for it to be steam cleaning and loss of value to the sectional couch. Will steam cleaning my couch get rid of the mold for good?
